I'm Behrooz Rad, a filmmaker born in 1991, based in Iran, with a deep passion for visual storytelling. My journey started with nature photography, capturing landscapes and the beauty of the natural world. Over time, I transitioned into wedding videography, where I learned to document emotions, movement, and the essence of a moment. Since 2015, I’ve been working in the film industry, exploring the power of images to tell stories, evoke emotions, and leave a lasting impact.

What sets me apart is that I’ve learned everything on my own, gaining experience through hands-on practice and experimenting over many years. I’ve also worked hard to avoid falling behind in this ever-evolving field, always striving to learn new things every day. Whether it’s exploring new technologies, techniques, or creative concepts, I’m constantly challenging myself to grow.

In recent years, my work has largely focused on social media content production, with a particular emphasis on Instagram and Reels. I’ve worked with the best brands, helping them create engaging, creative videos tailored to modern digital platforms. I’ve had the privilege of working in a wide array of filmmaking styles, including:

Throughout my career, I’ve successfully completed over 500 projects, refining my craft in every aspect, from cinematography to editing and color grading. I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with top artists and work alongside the best teams, adding unique perspectives and creative insights into my work. Most of the time, I take on the roles of Director of Photography (DOP), Editor, and Colorist, ensuring that every shot, cut, and color grade aligns perfectly with the story being told. I’m highly proficient in DaVinci Resolve, using it as my primary tool for editing and color grading to achieve the best cinematic results. In some projects, I’ve also stepped into the Director’s seat, overseeing the creative vision from start to finish.

What excites me the most is the collaboration—the energy of a set, the exchange of ideas, and the challenge of bringing something unique to life. Whether it’s capturing raw emotions in a documentary, crafting a high-energy commercial, or experimenting with new visual styles, I’m always looking for ways to push creative boundaries.
